If you are a rights holder or authorized agent, you may send a DMCA notice to request removal of allegedly infringing material. We act on valid notices promptly and in good faith.
Requirements of a valid notice
- Identification of the copyrighted work (title, description, proof of ownership).
- Identification of the material to be removed (exact URL(s) on this site).
- Complainant contact info: name/organization, postal address, e-mail, phone.
- Good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- Statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act.
- Physical or electronic signature of the rights holder or authorized agent.
Counter-notice (content owner)
If your material was removed due to mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).
- Identify the material removed and its location before removal (URL).
- Statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was the result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your contact info (name, address, e-mail, phone) and consent to jurisdiction of a competent court.
- Signature (physical or electronic).
Handling, timelines & privacy
- We may forward your notice to the affected party and to our service providers (security/support).
- If a valid counter-notice is received, content may be restored after the legal waiting period, unless the complainant files suit.
